Research include interactions of ILs with actinides; bioreduction and bioprecipitation of uranium by anaerobic bacteria (Clostridium sp.) in the presence of ILs; effects of ILs on uranium biosorption by bacteria; fate and persistence (biodegradation) of ILs in the environment; and applications of ILs in biofuels production. Collaborators include S. Malhotra, J. Wishart and S. Lall-Ramnarine. |
